February 2006

G'Day, I thought I should send you a note about my recent mishap.

Long story short, I highsided my bike at about 80ks which through me about 25foot into a drainage ditch flat on my arse, then the bike landed on top of me with the rear brake disc resting on the inside of my leg just above my knee pinning me down. It was a minute or so before the rest of the pack got to me, then quite a few more moments before they got the bike off me cause they thought my leg was broken.

The end result was a very bent bike, some bruising to me from the landing and bike landing on me and a second degree burn on my leg, no abrasions whatsoever thanks to the Draggin cargos I was wearing and quite a small burn thanks to the Kevlar at the knees ( it was estimated that the brake disc was somewhere around the 500-600 degree mark when I crashed ) and would have burnt to the bone with out the Kevlar ( leather would have made the matter worse in the way it traps heat).

As it was I was up and walking as soon as the bike was off me, and able to ride the bike away.

Thank you for a wonderful product.

Cheers Brian
