Testimonials / Letters - Letter 24To Draggin Jeans On the 2/1/99 I was riding from Tallangatta to Khancoban with three other Ulysses club members when I applied the front brake too hard and found myself sliding down the road at 95kph on my backside and then rolling over several times before stopping. After ceasing this rather abnormal activity I sat up on the road for a few seconds and discoverd that most parts of me were still operating. I stood to find that my Draggin' Jeans had survived the ordeal amazingly well. There was a hole in the denim over my left knee but the Kevlar remained in tact, and there was a hole in the right rear pocket where my wallet was situated. The injuries I suffered, namely heat grazes to my left arm and both knees, plus some rather spectacular bruising could have been much worse if i had not had the right riding gear on.The leather jacket also did it's job well but I was amazed at the performance of the"Draggin' Jeans". I shudder to think what my legs and backside would have been like if I had worn normal jeans. The heat grazes would have been major gravel rashes. SO THANKYOU "Draggin' Jeans", YOU ARE A LEGEND!
