Testimonials / Letters - Letter 21Dear Sir, The accident occurred early in the morning on the way to work in heavy fog, turning form one street into another at a T intersection. After halting to listen for traffic, I commenced to move off and went over loose gravel left behind after roadworks. The gravel was not visible due to the foggy conditions. The bike started to slide out from under me, and I fell, sliding about 7 metres, taking the full weight on my right elbow, which sustained a minor fracture (chipped bone) and grazing on the right elbow and knees. I feel certain that my Draggin' Jeans summer rame jacket and Knox Armour were instrumental in saving me from much more serious injury, as the armour was penetrated by gravel. Thank you once again Yours sincerely Daniel Stromeier |
