Testimonials / Letters - Letter 18It was a typical Queensland summer day, about 35 deg. So as we were going in the state forest for our ride. I thought that my draggin cargo's were the best bet. Riding along the dirt tracks the draggins were so nice a cool, letting just the right amount of ventilation through. I was dropping back from my friend on his KTM 640, so I decided it was time to catch up. Riding at a fair pace along this track, I came towards a fairly tight corner doing about 110km/h. Realising that I was going a little too fast I tried to brake but the ruts were too big, so I decided to try and slide the bike around the corner. The rear end stepped out very nicely, but the corner was still a little too tight. I slid the rear around further again, then trying to drive out of the corner thinking I have made it. In a very graceful manouvere I started to low side. Thinking I could save it, continued on but to no success. I low sided at about 90 km/h. Sliding down the track thinking to myself I really hope that these draggins hold up. I finally stopped picked my bike up dusted myself off, then looked down at my legs expecting the worst. I was so excited when there was no blood at all. Barely even a graze. The jeans had saved me from getting any injuries. I have always recommended draggin jeans to everyone that I ride with. Now I have even more of a reason. So I continued on the rest of the day all be it a little more cautiously. I am now a believer of the comfort and safety of the draggin clothing. Hope to hear from you in the near future. Regards |
