Testimonials / Letters - Letter 17Road tested your jeans and armour they passed nicely What can I say; it was an almost fatal attraction she was 17, good looking so good she didn't feel a need to look where she was going. I braked turned tried everything to avoid her but the attraction was too much; she crossed three lanes to come to meet me. I landed on my left knee, the amour took the brunt of the fall thank God for that, I slid on my knee and forearm down the road, as I did so I could see that I was crossing over the centre line toward the oncoming traffic, not cool, words like "oh darn" came to mind. I looked at my beautiful mint VFR750 sliding in front of me said farewell to it, great bike too, and kicked it with all my might straight into the on coming traffic. Crazy you say, no there was method in my madness doing that stopped me sliding into oncoming traffic and perhaps saved my life as well. So the damage report: Comments if there were a pocket for the armour it would not have moved and I wouldn't have scrapped my knee at all, but given I weigh 140kg landed on my knee and slide with nearly all my weight on that knee I can't complain can I? I will send photos when I can Finally I am working on producing a video to go with the book "Great Escapes" by Peter Mitchell, things are nearly finallised to get the go ahead, would you be interested in sponorship?
