Testimonials / Letters - Letter 14January 21, 2001 Thanks for the Great ProductHi Draggin, I am just sending a quick email to let you know that I have conducted an unplanned field test of your dragging cargo jeans. I came around a corner which had plenty of sand and gravel - wasn't there three hours before - and came off second best with the grip and gravity contention. The result was $2,800 of damage to the bike, severe blow to the ego, ripped cotton knee of the jeans and unbroken kevlar panel - albeit blood soaked (a badge of courage or symbol or carelessness!!) due to the bash and friction issues. I can only say thank you for a great product which definately saved my left knee and hip. The helmet, jacket, boots and gloves took some damage however the first thing to hit the road and take most of the impact was my left knee. I live in Darwin and they are ideal for hot weather riding. I have the bull denim and cargo jeans and tell any and everyone who rides a bike about the jeans - not just because they are a great product but mainly to get them out of riding in shorts and T Shirts etc. Quite often when I am wearing the jeans and tell people I have to unbutton them to show the kevlar panels because they don't believe that a comfortable and normal looking pair of jeans can have so much capability. All the best for a safe and profitable 2001. Michael Schlatter |
