Testimonials / Letters - Letter 09May 2000 Hi Draggin Back on the bike again Just dropping a note to the list to let you all know that I took my first ride again this evening after binning the Blackbird a month and a bit ago. Bit wobbly at first but not too bad after the knees stretched to fit the very tucked position of the KR. Had the most fantastic ride with the WAR group. 33 bikes - best ever turn out for a weeknight ride (we seem to do them about every second week). Pity we had a minor accident with one of the newbies loosing the front end through a chicane and the rider behind clipping him et al. The guys at Draggin's were fantastic. Got the comment back from Grant after he recieved my well worn set of "oh, they did work well didn't they". Typically understated :) Lotsa nice comments from lotsa people. Also, before people ask, no I haven't bought a replacement for the XX yet. Have the KR-1S at the moment so that's keeping me happy. Feels great to be back on a bike again!
