MFB Racing

MFB Racing is a unique community safety initiative aimed at educating high-risk community groups about fire and road safety.
The face behind MFB Racing is Leading Firefighter, Adam Smibert, who uses his appearances at high profile race meets around Victoria to promote life-saving message from the MFB.

Launched in 2002 with the support of Honda MPE, Tiger Angel, Shark and Alpine Star, MFB Racing is also a popular exhibit at community events and festivals including Australia Day, Community Safety Month festivities and the Royal Melbourne Show.
MFB Racing was awarded the RACV Individual Award for Excellence at the 2003 Fire Awareness Community Service Awards.

New Road Safety FIRE BIKE

On the 8th December 2006, MFB Racing took possession of a new Honda ST 1300 Fire Bike donated by Honda MPE.
Adam Smibert and the Fire Bike will be appearing all over the Melbourne metropolitan area to promote road safety, in particular motorcycle road safety.

The Fire Bike will not be turning out to fire calls but will be attending schools and events such as the MFB’s T.E.E.N.S road safety program, Vic Police road safety events, Honda Australia Rider Training (H.A.R.T) events, road safety rides with the Shire of Yarra Ranges, etc.

Draggin’ Jeans

On the 13th September 2006, Draggin’ Jeans joined MFB Racing’s sponsorship team. It was great timing for us as it was just before the Moto GP and the Royal Melbourne Show and we were looking for a new team uniform. As you can see in the photo of the Show, the new camos look great and everyone comments about them.
